What we collect and why

When you use the contact form, we receive your name, your email address, your message, whether you chose “I’m a client” or “I’m looking for work”, the page you sent it from and the date and time.

We use these details only to answer your enquiry or your application. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering the messages we receive (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

To deliver this website and protect it against abuse, our server briefly processes your IP address, for example to limit how many messages can be sent per minute. We do not use it to find out who you are.

We never use your details for marketing and we never sell them.

Where it is stored and who can see it

Messages are stored in the content management system of this website, on a server we rent from Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany, within the European Union. Only authorised people within the TB-D group can read them.

When we reply by email, your message and our reply are also kept by our email provider, Microsoft 365.

We do not pass your details on to anyone else, unless the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

• Messages from clients are deleted automatically 12 months after we have handled them.
• Job applications are deleted automatically 6 months after we have handled them.

Deleted messages can remain in our backups for a short time, until those backups are replaced.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not set cookies, does not track visitors and does not load scripts, fonts or other content from other companies. There is nothing to accept or refuse.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time which personal data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. You can also object to its use, ask us to restrict it, or ask for a copy in a common format. Send your request to Info@tb-d.be. We reply within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal data, we update this page. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
